World champions come to Fujairah

At the end of October the 95th UIM General Assembly Meeting took place in Fujairah (UAE). UIM president Dr. Raffaele Chiulli visited the Fujairah International Marine Club - Youth Training Academy and introduced the new training course for motorized surfboard sport, which joined the academy program as a new activity. This academy is a platform for supporting, developing and encouraging young talents. “The objective of the cooperation is to offer the young athletes from the whole UAE a possibility to practice a new, and very fast growing discipline”.



Following the donation of two motorized surfboards gifted by Martin Šula, the owner of the JETSURF company, the entire Fujairah team was trained by UIM MotoSurf World Champions Lukas Zahorski and Aneta Sacherova.

"The MotoSurf World Championship has been very focused on working with young talents. What we can see here in Fujairah is an example of passion and sportive approach", - said Martin Jancalek, MotoSurf World Championship Director. "We cannot wait to work on developing Emirati talents and seeing them racing on the highest level in the future".
